We can arrange an appointment for you.
Routine STI testing
If you do not have symptoms and would like a routine check for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), you have several options:
- Use our Self Sampling Kit. You can order a Self Sampling Kit online.
- Attend our No-Talk Testing Clinic.
Your personal information
When you register with our service, we will ask for some personal information, including your:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Address
We will give you a unique identification number called your clinic PIN.
Your clinic PIN is used to identify your samples when they are sent from the clinic. It is also used with your Self Sampling Kit.
Your appointment
If you have an appointment, we will aim to see you as close to your appointment time as possible.
If you would prefer to see or speak to a member of staff of a particular gender, please tell the receptionist when you arrange or attend your appointment. We will do our best to meet your preference.
Chaperones and support during your appointment
You can ask to have another person present during any part of your visit.
You can also request a chaperone if you would like one during an examination or consultation. We are happy to provide a chaperone on request.
If you would prefer to have your appointment by telephone or video consultation, please let us know.
When a female patient is examined by a male member of staff, a female nurse or clinical support worker will always be present.
Students and your care
Medical and nursing students may sometimes be involved in consultations or telephone appointments as part of their training.
If you would prefer not to have a student present or involved in your consultation, please tell a member of staff. Your choice will be respected.
