About Chalmers GIC

Who we are

The Chalmers GIC team is a multidisciplinary team currently which currently comprises of clinicians from a variety of specialties who have skills in various areas such as, Endocrinology (hormone), General Practice, Psychiatry, Psychology, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Nursing. We all have skills and experience in working with people with gender incongruence. We work together in order to provide holistic trauma informed gender care.

Public Transport: Our clinic is easily accessible by public transport with Lothian buses number 12, 23, 27, 35, and 47 all stopping directly outside the clinic.

Car: There is no free public parking on site and so you may have to pay to park nearby.

It provides information, advice and support to people who access the Gender Identity Clinic. The film follows three characters, all at different stages of their journey. The film is a result of consultation with the trans community and although the stories are fictional, they are based on the experiences of people who attend the clinic.
