Current Wait Times for Initial Assessments
New patients to the service will be placed onto the ‘Initial Assessment’ waiting list as they wait for their first appointment with the clinic.
We are now offering Initial Assessment appointments to patients who were referred in 02/2024.
Current Wait Times for Surgical Assessments
Patients who have been seen in clinic already are seeking gender affirming surgery will be placed onto the ‘Surgical Assessment’ waiting list.
We are now offering first Surgical Assessment appointments to those added to the Surgical Assessment waiting list in 11/2023.
Some surgical routes will require that you attend two surgical assessment appointments, if this is the case you will be booked in for your second surgical assessment appointment after you attend the first.
