If you are not a resident in Scotland and are visiting Edinburgh but you need urgent sexual health care, then you can call our team to discuss how we may be able to support you. Some things we will be able to see you for include:
- Treatment for a positive STI test
- Emergency contraception (you can access any community pharmacy for advice in first instance)
- HIV PEPSE (Post exposure prophylaxis for HIV infection)
- Some symptoms of an acute infection related to sexual health
- If you have recently been sexually assaulted
You will be assessed by our reception team, who may signpost you elsewhere or ask you to wait until your return to your place of permanent residence. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
